Precautions for the use of chain rigging

1. Before the chain rigging is used, it is necessary to see the working load and application scope on the sign. Overloading is strictly prohibited, and the chain rigging should be visually inspected and used only after compliance.

2. Under normal use conditions, the hoisting angle is the key to affecting the load. The maximum included angle of the shaded part in the figure should not exceed 120 degrees, otherwise the chain rigging will be partially overloaded.

3. It is forbidden to use informal connectors between chains. Bearing chain rigging is prohibited to hang directly on the components of the crane hook or wrap around the hook.

4. When the chain rigging surrounds the hanging object, add padding at the corners to prevent the ring chain and the hanging object from being damaged.

5. The normal operating temperature range of the chain is -40℃-200℃. Twisting, twisting and knotting are prohibited between the chain links, and the adjacent chain links should be flexible.

6. When lifting, lowering and stopping, the lifting, lowering and stopping should be balanced slowly to avoid impact load, and heavy objects should not be hung on the chain for a long time.

7. When the sling does not have suitable connecting parts such as hooks, lifting lugs, lifting ring bolts, etc., the single-limb and multi-limb chain slings can be used for the binding knot method.

8. The chain rigging should be handled with care, and it is strictly forbidden to beat, throw and drag it on the ground, so as to avoid deformation of the chain, surface and internal damage.

9. The storage place of chain rigging should be ventilated, dry and free of corrosive gas.

10. Do not attempt to forcibly pull the chain rigging from under heavy objects, or allow heavy objects to roll on the chain.
